Privacy Policy (v1)

Draft, pending legal review. This policy describes how AMI Distribution LLC handles business contact and account information. It is written for wholesale customers. It does not claim compliance with any specific privacy law.

Who we are

What we collect

We collect the business and contact details you give us when you apply, accept an invitation, or place an order. That includes company name, your name, email, phone, billing and ship-to addresses, resale certificates, and order history. If you opt in, we store that choice with the date and the page you used. The portal does not collect consumer shopping profiles.

How we use it

We use this information to review accounts, ship orders, send invoices and other transactional email, and operate the portal. Offer emails go only to customers who opted in. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share what a supplier, carrier, warehouse, payment processor, or professional advisor needs to complete an order or run the business. We do not sell or rent customer lists. We do not buy marketing lists.

How long we keep it

Account and order records stay while the account is open and for seven years after the last order. Marketing consent stays until you opt out, and the record of that choice stays for two years. These periods are the working draft for the owner to approve before this policy is published.

Security

Staff sign in with a password and an authenticator. Access to customer records follows the person’s role. No method of storage is perfect, and we do not promise that unauthorized access can never happen.

Your choices

You can turn offer emails off in account settings or with the unsubscribe link in a campaign. Transactional email about orders, invoices, and the account continues. You can ask info@amidistribution.com to correct business contact details.

Changes

When we publish a new version, we email customers. A new privacy version does not require you to agree again before the next order. The version in effect is the one on this page.
